To Heroes and Allies (Cid, Biggs, Wedge, etc.)

Dear Friends and Allies,

I know we have difficulty collecting and sharing information, given the number and variety of tasks we are faced with. I thought perhaps we might discuss where things stand, as time seems to be running out far more quickly than initially believed in the Sage's vision. What crystals we have available to us, which regions we are protecting, these are all things we should be well aware of, as well as plans for what to do next.

In addition, a few months go I picked up a key fragment from the owner of the Monster Arena. He does not seem to know of any use for this, but if there are other fragments that the rest of you possess, we might be able to complete the key. (It very well may be just junk, but I have yet to see junk offered as a reward for a difficult monster quest.) I do not know what it is for. The Floating Ruins, maybe? Have we attempted to gain access to this place? It may be worth our while if we can figure out how to unlock it.

In any case, if you have anything unusual in your possession that you think might be of some use, I urge you to tell the others. We may be holding important clues in our hands, and simply be unaware.

Event: Another Side, Another Story || Open Mognet Post

Characters who signed-up for the Another Side, Another Story event are free to use this post to their heart's content in order to post on Mognet. They can also reply to new posts made by in-game characters. To use Mognet, they will have to go to the nearest Mognet Office to send or receive new letters, or in the case of Mysidia they will have to seek out the Moogles working on the Enterprise.

Any top-level comments on this post will count as a Mognet Post, which can be addressed to all Heroes of Light or only to certain characters: make sure to mention it in the Subject line! While only characters who signed-up for the event can post new top levels, already in-game characters are free to reply to these top-levels.

Mognet letters can be received in a matter of mere minutes for characters who send their letters from the same city. If characters are in different cities however, it might take hours for them to get a letter and send back a reply. It's not a traditional network, so conversations might be delayed and take time. If your character cannot read or write, the Moogles can read and write letters for them.

I'm sorry I never could meet you personally. I wanted to be there when it all begun, but I have something very important to do. There are many forces in this world working against you, but there are just as many working to help you, even if you cannot see them. Sometimes it may seem as though you are alone, as though the whole world is against you and there is no hope. But I believe in you.

I have seen what you have done with the Village of Santa Claus, and this is your true strength. You can change this world, you can help its people and rekindle the flame that we lost. And now, the people of this world believe in you as well. The Heroes of Light who came before believed it was possible to save everyone, to end this cycle. I do not know how it is possible, but I know that you can accomplish whatever you want if you put your mind into it. This story has yet to end, but you hold the power to make the ending you dream of come true.

There is so much I would like to tell you, but my time is limited and sending this package has already put me at risk. Please do not look for me. In the past you protected me, but now it is my turn to protect you.

To: All Heroes of Light

Greetings.

I have just returned from the Republic of Esdham, Biggs is still there. Long story short, the Moogle with the Black Mage hat who was behind the events last month has been spotted in Esdham. Apparently he was attempting to go to the empire. He was stopped before he could, but he still managed to get away. We don't know where, but our only certainty is that he couldn't flee and go back to the empire. Esdham's armies are keeping an eye on the border and Mognet has put in place a barricade that prevents any Moogle from going into imperial territory unchecked.

Long story short, he is still here, stuck in non-imperial territories. Esdham's armies and Mognet won't be able to hold the line for long though. Give it two weeks and the line will be broken, meaning the Moogle be free to go back. We have a chance to catch him, but we have to act quickly. Which means, we need your help. Between Esdham's soldiers watching the border and Mognet keeping the barricade up, we don't have a lot of manpower left to hunt that moogle.

You're looking for a needle in a haystack of gigantic proportion. He could be here, he could be in Trano Golsaucia, he could be anywhere. But this Moogle is extremely dangerous and he knows more about you than we do, so I think it's worth a try. If you catch him, you may finally get some satisfying answers.

I think there are a few Airship pilots among you.
I've spoken to the direction of Shoopuf Airline, and you're
authorized to use Airships outside of the regular schedule
for the next two weeks. Esdham's airspace is still closed to
civilian airships, but you can get to Aerilon easilly this way.

[ This letter comes in a white envelope, no seal but a moogle wrote URGENT on big letter very hastily on it. He also wrote "Important" and "Read Immediately PLEASE!" on the back of it. ]

Weird people have infiltrated the Magitek Research Facility. I don't know how they got that far, but they knocked the guards out and now they're inside! Jessie's trapped in the facility too! I've called Biggs and Wedge for help, but I haven't heard of them ever since they walked in. You're the only ones that can help them. The facility is in the Sixth District, please come quick before those intruders hurt them or something!
